Urban Holiday

Velvet is my feel y'all, and I have been obsessed with the come back. So glad it stuck around for a bit. This turtleneck dress is absolutely darling. This is my choice for my family Christmas dinner 'fit for sure. For a glutton meal like Christmas dinner at my house, I want something a little loose around the belly and something that I am willing to wear all day. You can't go wrong with this comfy one-piece outfit (that requires very little effort) by slipping on your favorite unique booties to finish it up.
AND this one is my fun, grunge holiday party wear. This edgy 'fit can be transformed into an everyday outfit as well but for now it will do for any holiday events that need a little sass. Several details add to its perfection: the floral pattern is full of lovely holiday colors and again with the velvet. Also, the crisscross back--- enough said. This look was topped off with these chunky black boots once again, which are always adding their B.A. touch. Can I be honest? I had a vision for this dress and it didn't fully come to life with the cardigan. There is no way that I'd endure the cold without SOMETHING on though, and this is "OK" but I would really do an oversized denim jacket, leather jacket, or a nice overcoat (not pictured but I will link them). I am not a tall gal and this dress is definitely mini lol-- warning you that it is a bit short. Size references are at the bottom of this post!
I already wore this jumpsuit to an ornament exchange party and it was perfect in every way. It was so freaking comfortable, I didn't feel like I was "dressed up" at all-- I felt like I was in a onesie and a robe to be honest. I can't wait to move this to my everyday wear now and trade these block heels for some tennies. Another one of those "no way in heck I am leaving without a sweater" times and so I put this oversized cardi from Target on. It really did just the trick and "zero'd out" the heels to make it a little more casual. Although it looks like I am in the city, I am on Main Street of my tiny town. I think of this as a more low key, however sweet and stylish, outfit that is perfect for bouncing around downtown, or making small talk at any friend or family gathering.
Off the holiday feels-- as each of these are great for all your holiday needs, they can easily be moved into your everyday wardrobe as well and in multiple seasons. That is SO important because while it's great to have the best outfit at the dinner table, you want to have more purpose and use for each piece you purchase!
****** I am 5'3, usually wearing a 25 waist in jeans and such and small in shirts (I don't like things tight). I am wearing a size small in ALL of these except the Target Cardigan which is an XS.******
