So I started thinking a lot about the direction of my blog, I thought maybe I don't have a target audience and that is my problem with limited engagement. I was talking and thinking it over and over and realized that when I started this blog over a year ago, I introduced myself as having an eclectic style. Why change that about myself? I don't have a set street, classic, chic, high-end, or grungy style. . . I have a Rachael style. I know what I like, and I am confident in how I pair/wear things and I enjoy sharing that whether anyone else thinks it's cute or not.

I'll give an example of how I choose my clothes with this top (other than capsule wardrobe items). This outfit is one of those looks that may be a little different than others I post but, none the less, it's mine. I tried on this shirt while in Nashville with nothing other than the way it was cut to base my decision, and I bought it. I loved it, it was on sale and I knew I could do something with it. That is the beauty of my style. . . I know what I like, whether that be a classic, retro, or trendy piece and I make it my own, as opposed to classifying my style into a certain category.

When I got home and decided to photograph it I tried on several different bottoms with it, and went with black, ripped jeans. It's different and not how most would pair it, but the shirt is so light that these black jeans were the best thing for it. Mainly because that day I wasn't a white-on-white gal. The black and white tennis shoe really pulled it together by not hogging the attention, but definitely not going unnoticed.

I took a contemporary top,  grungy jeans and classic tennies to make a really cool outfit, how do you classify that?
