Fun fact: when I bought this, I full heartedly thought these mini flowers were cherries. I wanted to caption my instagram post "... with a cherry on top." I couldn't think of anything else so I replaced "cherry" with "flower".

I just bought this shirt on Thursday of last week and wanted to get it up just in case it was quick to sell out. THIS WAS AN IMPULSE BUY, AND THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. Just kidding on the last part but it was a very good one. I was wearing it by Friday with joggers and decided to photograph it in two other ways for today’s post! I went into Madewell looking for a sweater I’d been wanting and had no luck in sizes but I walked out of the dressing room to look back at the flannels (because Madewell clearly does them best) and just grabbed it and went to the counter. Not saying it’s a healthy thing by any means, but my impulse buys generally end up being my favorite—there was an obvious connection from the beginning am I right?

My original plan was to do mom jeans and white tennies but I thought I might as well throw on the booties because that is really more appropriate for the time of year. I hate that I have to say it like every other blogger on earth that this would be cute for the holidays . . . BUT it really would. It’s an outfit made super easy and casual with these roadtripper jeans that I snagged on sale at Madewell over Thanksgiving weekend. They are $75 now but so comfy and have the feel of a jegging while definitely holding the look of a jean—very important.

The next look with this floral top is my leather skirt (that I truly overdo and don’t really mind it). This can really be made into a bossy business outfit if your job requires that kind of thing, or you can wear this for the more fun holiday parties too. AND then again, you can just do your thing by wearing it to dinner, get drinks, or slide on some slip-on tennies and wear it everyday. However, I love an all black look: there is nothing classier, and a little mysterious, than a blacked out get up—especially with this retro chunky bootie.

The purse details: the cross body pouch is seriously darling and makes the outfit a lot “sweeter”, while the transport tote clearly says "I’ve got sh** to do".

Hope y’all enjoyed this mouth full of details! I could go on and on about this top and you will probably get tired of seeing it, but I can assure you, I won’t get tired of wearing it. Get your details below!
